Bike sales are still increasing

Is the petrol-driven twowheeler on its way out? Sales suggest otherwise as new motorcycle registrations continued to rise in August. As fuel prices rose, it was small, cheap-to-run machines that led the field with Honda’s PCX 125 scooter at the top of the sales tree, followed by Honda’s CBF125. Third place goes to Royal Enfield for the Meteor and Classic models. Scooters continue to lead the sales charts while naked, adventure and modern classic models are leading the way in the full-size motorcycle charts with an increase of more than 4000 sales in the year 2022 until August, as against the same period in 2021.
