Price is released for new Royal Enfield Hunter 350
Royal Enfield has announced the price its new Hunter 350, the bike it describes as the ‘two-wheeled double espresso’ of motorcycling.
The urban-styled Hunter will set buyers back £3899 for the monotone models, with the slightly better equipped Rebel variants at £3979. The Hunter 350 is a remixed roadster using the same power train as the Classic and Meteor models. Royal Enfield says the machine is stylish with compact-yet-muscular geometry that can ‘tackle crowded city streets, suburban backroads and beyond with ease.’
The brand is targeting the Hunter at buyers it says are tired with elaborate and overcomplicated roadsters and who are seeking a ‘functional and simplistic’ design that ‘exudes old school cool and retains that essential Royal Enfield DNA’.
There is a choice of three tank colour and graphics options on one edition and the top-of-the-range edition, finished with a choice of three of the most distinctive and disruptive petrol tank designs ever to adorn a Royal Enfield. It is also compatible with the make’s acclaimed Tripper TBT navigation, which will be available to order.
Mark Wells, chief of design, said: “It just seemed the most natural thing in the world for Royal Enfield to develop a fun, lighter and more agile 350 roadster. Every time I look at it, the Hunter gives me a carefree feeling – of being young and whizzing off to meet up with mates.”
The Hunter will be available from November.
