LOVE TO RACE

Stacey Van Wetering fell in love with bike racing after a track day left her feeling unfulfilled. “I thought if I could go this fast on a road bike then I needed more, so I got straight into racing,” she said. Her Honda VFR400R is perfect for someone who wants a regular hit of track adrenaline without blowing the budget. After starting with the Post Classic Racing Association NSW, Van Wetering found an even better playground for her talents in Victoria. “There are more than 60 VFR400S and similar bikes for this class in Hartwell Motorcycle Club’s events,” she said. “This club is good and there are so many bikes to race against.” So what future plans does she have? “I want to race my 2008 Yamaha R1 road bike”.
