One-owner British collection set to star at Wymondham

Classic Bike (UK) - - AUCTIONS -

Following on from their July classic sale, in which they offered 19 motorcycle lots, East Anglia Motor Auctions (EAMA) have announced they will be auctioning a one-owner collection of 22 bikes at their next Classic and Retro sale in October. The bikes are being consigned by the family of the Norwich-based late owner, who built up the collection over a number of years. Since his death nine years ago, the machines have been in storage at his home and all will require some degree of work, from recommissioning to complete restoration.

The collection includes five Vincents – a Comet, three Rapides and a Black Shadow – plus five BSA Rocket 3s, two BSA Rocket Gold Stars, a brace of BSA Catalina Gold Stars and a Velocette Venom, among others. The sale highlight looks like it will be the 1953 Vincent Black Shadow below, fitted with an earlier 1951 engine, which is estimated to make £30,000-35,000. See more info at: eama-nor
