MEETING DAD’S BIKE

Just to let you know, I met up with Brian, who owns my dad’s old BSA C15, this evening at the Great Bentley bike meet. Thank you for putting me in touch with Brian and the old C15 through your Way We Were pages – it’s much appreciated.

Brian (pictured with me on the left) only lives about five miles from where my dad lived. He has owned the bike since the early ’80s – it is still in its original condition and has never been restored. It still has the original front numberplate. He even let me have a go – I had forgotten how hard it is to ride a bike with the gears on the wrong (right?) side!
