All the way from Sweden, Ole’s bike won the trophy for having the earliest VIN number – and it’s an absolute cracker. It should be, because the early sandcast model has been restored by ace restorer and judge for today, Vic World. “I’ve loved CB750S since I was 16,” Ole tells me. “Though I had to wait until I was 18 before I bought one. They weren’t available in Sweden to start with. My first one was a K2, but the sandcast is definitely the best-looking CB750 model. And it’s the first superbike, for sure.”
