BIKE SEARCH 2

-

For many years I have yearned to know what happened to my first two bikes – they date back to the period starting in 1958 and I look back on those years with great fondness. My first bike was the BSA B31, registration PBK 220 (right), which was badly damaged in an accident in Portsmouth – this was the bike I learned to ride on. I part-exchanged it for my Triumph Thunderbird, HTK 289 (below) on which I covered a phenomenal mileage. I then chopped that in for a 1960 BSA Super Rocket on which I mounted a sidecar. If anyone knows if either of these bikes are still around, I would love to hear from them. I can be contacted by email on davidsandal@hotmail.com.
