FROM A BIKER GANG TO A DIFFERENT FLOCK
I thought you may be interested in this news report from 50 years ago in the Stafford Advertiser and Chronicle of 1968. I can be seen in the top right picture wearing the white scarf and also in the bottom right-hand picture on my Velocette Viper, 414 CFD, which I still own. Some of the lads in the report still keep in touch – one is now a retired vicar and the other is a bell ringer at St Mary’s church in Stafford. The separate picture of the Viper (above) was taken in 1970 in the Ardennes on my way to Switzerland.
