Barn beautiful

There are projects aplenty up for bidding at H&H’S first online sale of the year

For anyone looking for a restoration project, H&H’S online sale this month looks like it could prove a happy hunting ground. A number of barn-find projects have been unearthed by H&H’S Mike Davis. This 1965 Royal Enfield Continental GT (right) looks like it wouldn’t take too much work to get back on the road – and it’s being offered with no reserve. It has a current V5C and comes with a host of potentially useful spares into the deal.

Other tempting barn finds include a complete-looking but shabby 1952 Matchless G3LS (estimate £2000-3000), a 1951 BSA M21 with a recently reconditioned magneto but in need of restoration with an estimate of £2000-3000, and a 1977 Yamaha TT500 (estimate £2500-3500) that looks pretty much all there and has what looks like a genuine lighting kit. It has been running in the last two years, too, so hopefully it shouldn’t take much to get back on the road.
