Original pilot cutter
Breeze was built by Coopers of Pill in 1887, as one of the smaller boats in the Bristol Channel pilot cutter fleet at 39ft 6in (12m). She’s thought to be the only surviving example of a Coopersbuilt cutter. The current owner gave Breeze to RB Boatbuilding in Bristol for a comprehensive rebuild from 2014 to 2016. Breeze is virtually a new boat now, “in superb condition inside and out, and a very pretty and fast cutter that can be easily handled by two people rather than needing a large crew as is required on the bigger boats” according to the broker. The stunning interior, predominantly finished in varnished oak, gives seven berths including a double in the saloon.
