Entries open for Cowes Spring Classics

Cowes Spring Classics will take place over the weekend of 20-22 May, the organisers have confirmed, with racing open to a wide variety of classics and Spirit of Tradition boats.

The popular season-opener took place for the past two years in autum and summer, and coorganiser Mary Scott-Jackson said: “We are finally back to our usual dates so we can genuinely call ourselves, Cowes Spring Classics! We’re looking forward to welcoming classic yacht owners and their crew for the fifth edition of the regatta.”

The regatta will again be based at Shepards Marina with social events at The Sugar Store, with a crew BBQ on Friday and dinner on Saturday. Racing will be organised by the Cowes Corinthian Yacht Club. The Isle of Wight Distillery will again be supporting the Friday evening Welcome Drinks with a Blue Mermaid Gin & Tonic, and Henri-Lloyd are continuing their support as Official Race Clothing Partner with a range of regatta clothing. cowesspringclassics.com
