Cowes Week advice for older boats
Owners of elderly yachts intending to enter Cowes Week, which takes place from 30 July to 5 August, might be interested in a new video oering advice to regatta first-timers, as well as more experienced participants.
The UK’s biggest regatta runs fleets for classic classes as well as cutting-edge IRC raceboats.
The video has been put together by the Cruising Association, which sponsors one of the ‘cruising’ classes in the event, with Cowes Week. You can view it on the regatta website front page – web address below.
Lucy Gray, Cruising Association General Manager, said: “We consulted with our members and lined up a pile of questions that are likely to crop up for new competitors.”
