Free show expands

-

A free classic show in Derbyshire is to grow in size by a third following the success of previous events. The fifth Ilkeston Heritage & Classic Vehicle Show will take place on Sunday 13 August.

About 300 exhibits will line up, thanks to the use of an extra car park, eclipsing last year’s 200. Around 7000 visitors attended in 2016, and organisers are expecting numbers to increase this year.

The star car is also the oldest at more than 110 years old – a 1904 US-made Brennnan. Other attractions include a craft fair and music from Ilkeston Brass. Ilkeston Hospital and Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance will benefit from donations. facebook.com/ events/1706149382979491/
