Regent Motor Company for sale

St Helens-based specialist Regent Motor Company (RMC) has been put up for sale with a £14k asking price due to owners Francis Richards and David Cleaton retiring. RMC, billed online as a kit car business seen on National Geographic’s Strippers: Cars for Cash, began transforming Austin FX4 cabs into wedding vehicles in 2006; two years later, it was bought out by Caremore Cars. The new owner would receive body moulds and jigs with which to restart production.
