HOW LONG HAVE YOU OWNED THE CAR FOR?

I have owned it from new and apart from a couple of easily reversible modifications the car is all original and unrestored. I special ordered it in black, before the ‘ie’ version was even out, and black was not at the time an optional colour. It was one of the first Tempra 1.6 SX ies to come in to this country – at the time I worked for a Fiat dealership. It now has 77k on the clock. I’ve been to many shows but never see any Tempras at them. When the insurance company valued it recently they would only insure it for £2750.

HOW MUCH HISTORY?

I’ve kept everything since it was new. The car was garage stored for around ten years but has been back in regular use since 2017. It has passed two consecutive MoT tests since being back on the road and is used once a week on average.

WHAT’S LEFT TO DO ON IT?

Nothing. It has always been properly looked after. The interior is as-new. It has four electric windows and an electric tilt and slide sunroof

– all of which function well. The rear window blinds both work and amazingly the digital dash is still fully functioning. Even the headlamp washer jets are in working order.

HAS IT BEEN MODIFIED?

The only variations from standard are the Tipo 2-litre Sport alloy wheels (which were fitted when the car was new), a boot spoiler and a blue coachline.
