New hotel approved
Historic vehicle and specialist venue, Bicester Heritage, received the go-ahead from Cherwell District Council for a 344-bed hotel on 25 October. Expected to create 180 jobs, the new building will be created in keeping with the former architecture – and will add to its existing complement of four ‘crew rooms’ found within its technical complex. Pitched as an ‘automotive resort’ ahead of the similarly-configured (but much delayed) Mullin Motor Museum near Chipping Norton, visitors are expected to make the most of the transport links to Oxford and London.
New hotel could create up to 180 jobs.
