AUSTIN PRINCESS

1981, 100,000 miles, £1700. A genuine, original Princess for sale which will be sold with 12 months MoT. Interior is complete and overall in good condition, and all the electrics work. 07966 418519, Havant

p53

Austin Princess It’s not clear if this is a four- or six-cylinder car, but either way it looks like a decent deal. It’s hard to see the condition of the body, so ask about rust, but the image is promising, as is the 12-month MoT. Seventies charm at a keen price.

FORD CAPRI 1.6 LS

1982, 115,000 miles, £4,750, ono. Ford Capri 1.6LS, terracotta colour, recent vinyl roof and tyres, many new parts inc. windscreen, steering rack etc, recon 2.0-litre Pinto engine included email for details 01634 573612, 07704 955592, Kent

p55

Ford Capri As a 1.6, this isn’t the most desirable Capri – but then you wouldn’t get a 2.0 in this condition for the same money. With a recon Pinto included in the sale, however, this is one way for a home mechanic to get a Capri 2.0 on the cheap.

PEUGEOT 205 CABRIOLET

1986, 96400 miles, £5000, Splendid condition. Original unmolested example. Drives just as it should do, original rattles, creaks etc still included. Matching BF Goodrich tyres all round. 07581 055010, Rochdale

p66

Peugeot 205 CTI You know what they say about cabrios – buy them in winter. This isn’t the cheapest CTI ever, in fairness, but it looks like it’s in great condition and the mileage is relatively low. A fairly early 1.6 phase 1, it’s the purist’s choice.
