Theft protection for £8

As a regular CCW reader, I am becoming increasingly dismayed by reports of classic cars being stolen and fired for sheer vandalism’s sake; such a waste of historic vehicles and the many hours of care and attention spent on them by their devoted owners.

There is, to my mind, a fairly simple solution to slow down the theft process, although it will not stop the determined thief. It’s a battery isolator switch, which can be found online for a little under £8 with removable key and spare. It’s easy to fit by anyone with a little DIY knowledge, and rules out hot wiring with the vehicle being totally disabled.

I do hope this is of some assistance to fellow enthusiasts.
