1970 ROVER P5B
This former Classic Motor Show trophy winner, which appeared in the NEC’s hall back in 1994, was always going to attract interest on account of its unusual twodoor conversion. The 31,000-mile H-registered model was
originally rescued from a back garden, and given the new bodywork by Rover specialist RJ Spratley during its restoration in the early Nineties. It looked like a solid example and is always going to attract curious glances at any classic car shows, so we reckon that the buyer did very well here.
