Hardly an everyday sight but from a car maker with a dedicated, if somewhat small, following, this 1950 TB made an interesting alternative to a Jaguar XK, and what it might have lacked in speed compared with the Lyons’ creation it made up for in terms of rarity and personality. The new owner had the reassurance that restoration work (carried out between 2010 and 2012) should have taken care of business for the time being. An off-beat treat.
