Salvage Hunters’ Maserati – yours for £18k
A 1997 Maserati Ghibli that will be featured on the new series of Salvage
Hunters: Classic Cars is for sale in Banbury, Oxfordshire – and whoever buys it will be invited to appear on the programme.
As part of the show, the car has benefitted from a £1600 detail and is said to be in excellent condition. With 12 months’ MoT the car is offered for sale at £17,995.
Co-presenter of Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars, Paul Cowland, said: ‘I’ve always loved the Ghibli - it was always such a nice evolution of the Biturbo design, and the proportions of the arches are perfect. Such a wonderful car to drive and such a satisfying car to restore – especially when you see what we do to it – and the results we get. ‘Despite the relative fragility of these
cars, and the potential for future expenditure, both Drew (Pritchard) and I would have loved to have kept this one. It’s as close to a guaranteed investment classic as you’ll get, if you look at prices of other rare Maseratis. But it’s all about keeping the stock turning, so it’s got to go!’ Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars returns to Quest on 16 January at 9pm. ] https://tinyurl.com/
