‘ The engine’s now Irmscher Phase 2 spec’
‘I own an Irmscher i200, one of 30 made. It was modified when new with a high-lift cam, LSD, Opel ‘Blitz’ interior, Rothmans stripes, a 400 three-piece boot spoiler, a sports exhaust, a twinlight conversion and Irmscher UK’s Revolution RFX alloys. I’ve had it since it was four years old, but the engine’s been rebuilt to Irmscher’s more powerful Phase 2 specification, with hardened valve seats and a Vernier pulley. I also improved the braking and fitted stiffer engine mounts as the tuned engine has a very lumpy idle.’
