Morris Minor 1000

With Convertible and Traveller Minors being the more expensive of the breed, the saloon sits itself in the more affordable of the range.

You wouldn’t be buying one for its sizzling performance nor – despite what Motor might have implied in period – physicsdefying handling. No, you buy one to indulge in your own slice of motoring history. Bask in their charming styling, simple interior and a flatulent ‘parp’ on the over-run. More than 1.3 million rolled off the production line meaning there are plenty out there to choose from. Eminently useable and packed with charm, the Minor 1000 is still a sound buy.
