Hawthorn remembered

The career of racer Mike Hawthorn, who died in a road accident 60 years ago, will be celebrated with a special Race Retro display on 22 and 24 February. Two of his most significant cars – a Lotus Eleven that he raced in period, and his Le Mans-winning Jaguar D-type – will be on show in the Hall of Fame Live. Both machines will be joined by Hawthorn’s personal effects sourced from a private collection.
