Silverstone Classic’s celebrations

This year’s Silverstone Classic is to host eight birthdays on 26-28 July. Perhaps the most significant is Bentley’s centenary, curated by the Bentley Drivers’ Club. Abarth will be ringing in seven decades, followed by clubs observing the Mini’s diamond year. Look out for displays feting Marcos (60), the Ford Capri and Triumph TR6 (both 50) along with the BMW Z1 and Mazda MX-5 (each of which is turning 30).
