PERFECT PANELS

-

Age and neglect lead to scuffs and dings in those curvaceous panels, and front-end stone-chipping is common, so expect previous paint rectification. Also check for peeling lacquer requiring a costly re-spray. The bumpers are prone to picking up scrapes and as the mountings can rot through you’ll want to be sure they are securely attached. Damaged light units and exterior trim are other bothers, but there’s a healthy supply of secondhand parts. New bits are expensive however with a front wing nigh-on £1000, so be wary of scruffy projects.
