Stolen Scimitar sought

- scimitarweb.co.uk

Allan Kingdom’s highly modified Reliant Scimitar, which is well known to the Reliant Sabre & Scimitar Owners’ Club (RSSOC), was taken from his home with its keys and log book. Members have been posting the car’s details all over social media in the hope of finding it.

The car has been repainted white since the theft; it was recently spotted in Bradford and between the Wakefield/ Sheffield junctions of the M1. Rumours abound that whoever has the car now may have unwittingly bought it from the thieves.

RSSOC Facebook admin and registrar co-ordinator, Matt Greenly, said: ‘ The power of social media is amazing; hopefully there are now so many eyes out there looking for Allan’s car that it will be impossible to sell on. Thanks must also go to the many people outside the RSSOC Facebook page who have shared news of this theft.

‘We need to show the thieves that we are a community who look after each other, rather than an easy target.’

Anyone with information about Allan’s car should contact West Yorkshire Police or Crimestoppers, quoting crime number 13180400437.

?? ?? Recent sightings of this stolen Scimitar GTE SE5A make the owner think that it’s still in one piece; if you’re on the West Yorkshire/South Yorkshire border, keep an eye out for it.
