1250 sign tax break petition
A new campaign aimed at getting tax exemptions for 30-year-old classics has been steadily garnering signatures for the last two months. At the time of writing, 1250 enthusiasts had added their names to the petition, which runs until 18 September. If the petition is successful, owners of classics aged 30 years and older would not pay road fund license, though some enthusiasts fear that this will fuel further debates around roadworthiness testing and paid access to clean air zones like London’s ULEZ.
