Skyfall

Fresh on the heels of the latest Bond news, it only felt appropriate to feature a Bond film this week. Skyfall brought the franchise its first Oscars in decades and (spoiler alert) was the last outing for Judi Dench as M.

Bond successfully shoehorns an Aston Martin DB5 into it, too – cue a long drive to Glen Etive in the Highlands, an amusing unspoken threat of ejector seat action and a surprise use of the Aston’s hidden machine guns. Spoiler alert #2: it gets blown up. But fear not, while there were several real DB5s in the film, the victim in the film was a combination of exacting scale models and a terminally ill Porsche 928.

So, you can enjoy the explosion with no guilt. Unless you’re a Porsche fan, of course.
