WHAT CAR DO YOU WANT?
It might sound pretty obvious, but you must have an idea of what car you want, be it a particular model or a body type. While it’s almost expected that anyone who claims to be a classic enthusiast will want a drop-top sports car, there are many others who prefer two-door coupés, four-door saloons and even workmanlike estates. While you’re at it, consider how much space you have to park or store your classic before you commit any money; there’s not much point in buying a 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville if your garage can barely accommodate a Mazda MX-5.
