Meanwhile, the Sportscar group will see an AC Cobra, Ferrari 212 Inter, Lister Jaguar ‘Knobbly’, Maserati ‘Birdcage’ and Lola T70. A Le Mans category will feature a Jaguar XJ220, Porsche 911 and Ford GT40, while fans of Touring Cars will be pleased to see a BMW M3 and Ford Sierra RS500, too. Finally, the ‘ Vintage Racers’ will feature a group of chain-driven Frazer Nashes as well as a 1932 Alfa Romeo RL Targa Florio.

Show director, Bas Bungish, said: ‘After what everyone has been through in recent months, we wanted to give visitors to The Classic Car Drive In Weekend something really special to enjoy.

You only have to run through the magical marques listed to set your heart beating a bit faster: Ferrari, Jaguar, Maserati, Porsche, Alfa

Romeo, Cooper... I can’t wait to see – and hear – them all revving up and performing on our track.’
