Do press Escort XR3s survive?
Back in 1980 some £1,639,360 worth of red Ford Escort XR3s – registered TTW 1W through to TTW 320W – were driven in convoy along an unopened stretch of the M4 motorway. The occasion was a dealer visit to Ford’s Bridgend engine plant, where dealers drove them away as part of the XR3’s launch.
