Classic Car Weekly (UK)

THREE PRELUDES WE’VE SEEN THIS WEEK

-

1982 PRELUDE 1.6 £14,000

£14k is a big chunk of money, but this late MkI is a rare thing. Apparently it’s never needed welding and has just 18k miles on the clock. It looks fantastically clean and original, so a garage for winter is a must.

1996 PRELUDE 2.2i VTEC £6995

This 52k-mile MkIV looks original and well preserved, with a service history described as ‘amazing’. Modifying it would be a crime, but with the desirable 182bhp motor and allwheel steering, it deserves to be driven.

1991 PRELUDE 2.0 EXi £2895

Fixing some small paint imperfections would keep this MkIII desirable. Condition appears strong and it’s described as ‘lovely’, and this is another desirable variant with 16v motor and all-wheel steering.
