Cancelled track day’s pledge to visitors

Organisers of a charity track day cancelled by coronavirus have split the fundraising into two separate events. Classic Motor Cars chairman, Peter Neumark’s Veloce 2020 was replaced by a 12-lot charity auction hosted by online sale room Collecting Cars, and next week’s Salon Privé (23 September) will include a celebrity for guests who donate £285 – with 100 per cent of the proceeds given to worthy causes.
