This Morning

We really weren’t expecting to write about This Morning but, we’re only referring to a single segment of this 120-minute programme, which features, inexplicably, Nigel Havers and Lister Cars.

As part of Nigel’s new ‘Best of Britain’ segment, he explores Lister’s premises in Cambridge and delves into its history, as well as the company’s usage of specifically British parts for its continuation cars. Nigel’s team shows off what it takes to build a Lister ‘Knobbly’; proper hands-on stuff by blokes with actual tools.

Things get even better, with Nigel taking a test drive. We bet you weren’t expecting to see that on This Morning. Oh, and of course, there’s a generous smattering of newsreel from the Fifties and Sixties and plenty of Sir Stirling namechecks.
