Brits dominate Charterhouse sale
Plenty of sports car and saloon choices at Charterhouse
Charterhouse is sticking with the online-only format for its next sale, which kicks off next Wednesday (23 September).
The one-day auction includes a deceased-estate two-owner 1965 Austin Mini Cooper S that has been garage stored for many years, the auctioneer says. It is temptingly offered at no-reserve.
The sale also features a 1950 Bentley MkVI (est: £20,000-25,000) that was restored in the 1990s, a 1957 Austin A35 four-door (£4000-5000) and a 1958 MG Magnette (£50006000). An early left-hand-drive Jaguar E-type 2+2 Series 3 in light blue and with a manual gearbox has a £38,000-42,000 estimate and a 1964 Triumph TR4 is estimated at £20,000-25,000 (see right).
