INSPECT ITS INTERIOR

Look for damp stains in the carpet or headlining and check that all the interior equipment is working, especially on higher-spec HLs. Peeling laquer, sagging door trim and damaged dash parts are other things to look out for – rarely critical, but refurb costs add up.
