I found the annoying noise I’d been having over bumps was a slightly warped exhaust heat shield. Bending it back into place has solved it.

Had a tinker with the 1300. Removed the distributo­r cap, cleaned it all up, cleaned the interior, re-charged and conditione­d the battery and put another coat of polish on it.
