LOW-MILEAGE FERRARI COLLECTION AT RÉTROMOBILE SALE

F40, F50 and Enzo – all with fewer than 10k miles – up for grabs

-

Acollection of eight Italian modern classics, all with minimal mileage, will be for sale at Artcurial’s sale at Salon Rétromobile in Paris, including a Ferrari F50 with just 1318km (818 miles) on the clock.

Labelled the ‘Monegasque collection’ – the cars’ owner, Maître Etienne Léandri, is from the city state of Monaco – all of the cars are one-owner from new. A serial Ferrari owner, Léandri gained the nickname ‘The Ferrari Lawyer’ in Monaco and has long been on Ferrari’s list of preferred customers who receive first refusal on new models and limited editions.

The collection’s headliners are the F40, F50, Enzo and Laferrari. All of the cars have been kept in temperature-controlled underground storage and driven only in fair conditions. The F40 – the oldest and likely the ‘cheapest’

– has the highest mileage, 13,284 km (8254 miles) and is expected to fetch €1,300,000-1,500,000. The F50 is estimated to lead the sale at €2,700,000–3,500,000.

Artcurial Motorcars’ managing director, Matthieu Lamoure, told Classic Car Weekly: ‘You can imagine how emotional it was to open the doors of this garage in Monaco to find these four Ferrari supercars – models that we have all dreamed about. We realised that we were looking at a treasure that is incredibly sought-after and almost impossible to find on the market today when we discovered that they were such low-mileage, one-owner cars.’

The collection also includes a Ferrari 599 GTO F1, Ferrari 458 Italia, a manual Lamborghini Murciélago and a Fiat 595 Abarth Ferrari Dealers Edition. The sale takes place on 18-19 March.
