WHO? Debbie Hazeldene MILES 81,000 PROVENANCE Full history MODS None HOW MANY LEFT? 5300 approx.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU OWNED THE CAR?

We bought our Z3 brand new in 2000 from a local BMW dealership for around £20,000. The paint colour is Topaz Blue and it was ordered with the optional beige leather interior. Since then I have been the only owner and the car has always been kept garaged and well cared-for. After 22 years of ownership we are now considering advertising our car in Classic Car Weekly and would like you to give us an indication of its current value.

HOW MUCH HISTORY?

It has full service history, which, along with its complete MOT history, backs up the 81,000 miles as genuine. The BMW has enjoyed regular use throughout my ownership though has always covered fewer than 5000 miles a

year. No work has had to be carried out over the years apart from regular servicing and the inevitable replacement of front suspension bushes, which you get with a Z3.

HAS IT BEEN MODIFIED?

There are no modifications to the car – it has always been absolutely fine as it is.

WHAT’S LEFT TO DO ON IT?

Nothing whatsoever at the moment. The body, hood and interior are all in lovely condition, as you can see from the attached photograph. The current MOT runs until 6 September this year and the car has only covered just over a thousand miles since passing the test. The only advisory point noted at the time was for a minor exhaust leak and front exhaust mounting bracket. There’s plenty of tread on the matching set of tyres.
