Baston Car & Bike Show
Grimsthorpe Castle, Bourne, Lincolnshire PE10 0LY, Sunday 10 July
The Baston Car & Bike Show, was held in the eponymous Lincolnshire village the last time I attended. However the event now resides nine miles up the road in the impressive grounds of Grimsthorpe Castle. There was nothing wrong with the previous cars-in-a-¦eld format but there’ll be plenty of space to spread out and have a picnic in between browsing the cars this time.

PRODUCTION EDITOR Beaulieu, New Forest, Hampshire SO42 7ZN. 16 July
My ¦rst car was a Vauxhall Nova and my parents had Astras – one of which I learned to drive in – for years. So spending the day in the grounds of Beaulieu’s museum ogling all things Gri¨n seriously appeals to me. Whether it’s the chrome-laden Sixties cruisers or the ubiquitous Eighties repmobiles that appeal to you most, they’ll all be there. ■ beaulieu.co.uk
