Tom Tjaarda missed

I was so sad to read of Tom’s passing. I always looked forward to his column and his insider view of the workings in design houses. Glad to read, though, that the family are happy for you to publish his last few musings. He will be sorely missed.

Regarding the Aston Martin Lagonda (The List, September 2017) – wow! I saw them being built at Newport Pagnell. An amazing vehicle – shame the digital dash was still in its infancy. Nowadays it would be a piece of cake to get it to work. Gordon Dow
