This cool-looking slice of Americana stands well enough on its own. But this one had been owned for the last three years – and had its straighteight sidevalve motor fettled – by no less than F1 and Indycar engineer Adrian Reynard. Imported and restored by the previous owner in 2004, it could stand a little freshening now in places. However, the guide price of £10-15k still looked realistic enough. So at the price paid, fantastic!
