UNIQUE PROJECTS, INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS AND A CAN-DO ATTITUDE DEFINE COTSWOLD CLASSIC CAR RESTORATIONS
Creativity is a key part of working with classic cars, from improving panel fitment to developing bespoke upgrades, and Cotswold Classic Car Restorations embraces lateral thinking wherever it can. That attitude has been instilled in founder Jonathan Wills ever since he trained in traditional panel work, and only strengthened when he started racing an MG Maestro Turbo with his brother. Their modifications created a winner and today the twelve-strong CCCR team can take on any challenge.
Paint, bodywork, trimming and mechanical restoration tasks are all carried out at the firm’s Cirencester workshops, while a sales arm sources both complete cars and restoration projects from around the world.
Working with a global clientele that stretches from Qatar to Mauritius, Jonathan also offers conversions from left to right-hand drive and vice versa. A showroom and coffee shop are planned for the near future.
More than 800 cars have visited Cotswold Classic Car Restorations: the team has fixed the paintwork on a 1922 Stanley Steamer, rebuilt the fuel system of a 2005 Mercedes-benz SLR Mclaren supercar and restored a range of classic Aston Martins. Modernisation is another key talent, CCCR creating solutions to suit individual clients. A recent Triumph TR6 project benefited from a Jaguar V6, LED lights, central locking and one-off smoothed doors with button-operated handles.
