What are you talking about in the CDB world? All sorts of things as it happens, bring it on we say.
Having read John Mccrink’s Liston Bell article I wonder if you would head to Devon to interview Tim Dallaway and family? He won the pre-74 class last year and is contesting the pre-65 class this season. He is riding his ex-roger Neale Triumph Mettisse in the champ races but also rides BSA and Maico.
Another item I think you would enjoy printing is a feature on the PDS Triumph bikes built down here in Yeovil. They were devised by Martin Perrett and Mike David, both long-time scramble riders/supporters. I know there have been a few Triumph/maico specials built over the years but not like these.
If you find a photo of one you will see the rear sprocket is on the right hand side of rear wheel, the Triumph gearbox has been cut off and a KTM unit welded on, plus one engine has the barrel and head turned through 180 degrees with the carb at the front. These bikes win nearly every time out and deserve an article.

We’d intended to pop down to Devon to see the Dallaways Barry, but time and logistics got the better of us. Your comment regarding the PDS Triumphs struck a chord and I saw the lads at Farleigh, so look out for a feature next year. Tim
