Way back in 1980, Paul Armer visited Harrison’s of Sedbergh with £1200 in his pocket… his eye was on the 414 Montesa Cappra they had in the window. Notes exchanged, Paul wheeled the bike out to his trailer little thinking he’d still have the Spanish Mxer nearly 40 years on. It’s pretty much original though it did get submerged during the floods which caused havoc around the Lancaster area a few years ago. “It was under six feet of water,” he groans, “and when the floods went down I had to strip the whole lot to get the water out of it.”.
