A BIT ‘DOT’TY

A bike which has the patina of age is always an attraction to us here at CDB, which is why we pestered Mike Walker as he was trying to fettle his 1962 Dot for the last race. Mike has owned the bike since he was 13 so as he’s 60 we think he’s had it for 47 years. “It did spend 30 years under the bench in the workshop,” he grins, “while I did the family bit then went road racing.” He added there were a few issues with the bike during the day, but it’s getting better.
