Neil Shaw’s 1981 Suzuki GSX1100ET and 1983 GSX750EZ

Here are my two Suzukis I have been restoring. I bought them four years ago and the 750 was a mess with mass corrosion and most bits seized. I got the frame powder-coated and I have repainted everything else myself with a rattle-can in my garage. All the rubbers and bearings have been replaced and I repaired the seat base with fibreglass. The rust was the only thing holding it together! The 1100 was in good condition but the colour wasn’t to my liking so I had it painted professionally. I stripped it down recently and had it powder-coated and I replaced all the pieces that were worn or rusted. They both have genuine Suzuki exhaust systems as I recently acquired the 1100 mufflers which came out of the USA. The 750 system was acquired from the UK a few years ago. I have clocked up 10,000km on the 750 in the last few years which has taken it to 128,000km on the clock while the 1100 spends a lot more time in the garage. These old bikes are better if you ride them!
