Kevin Kemp’s 1988 Suzuki GSX-R1100

My uncle bought this bike in 1988, one of many GSX-RS he owned over the years. At purchase it had around 40,000km logged. He rode it everywhere and often. He passed away in 2015 and bought the old T-rex (we dubbed it that, because she was old and my uncle' s name was Terence) from my aunt as we wanted to keep the bike in the family. He had found a new set of carbs in 2014, so the at slides were tted but as he did all the work himself, the set-up was not great. have had to do very little since got her. A proper service and recon of brakes and suspension is about all. then decided to paint her on this red/ white/black which is reminiscent of the GSX-R7 50 Vance Hines racing colours from 1985/1986 at Daytona. She now has 184,000km logged and still runs strongly.
