Scary scams!

Please could you put up this message regarding fraudsters and scammers scouring the wanted advertisements in various motorcycle and club magazines. I have been caught through a particular owner’s club magazine, to the sum of £750.

The scam is they contact you through the email offering spares that you have placed in the wanted ads. I was told that a motorcycle was being broken for spares, it looked too good to be broken and I offered to buy the bike. I paid half of the amount, a copy of the shipment document was emailed to me and I paid the rest. Yep, you know the rest, caught, hook, line and sinker. Please be careful of the scam. Kim Anglish
